What’s in a whole food pantry? Here is my ever changing and growing list of ‘must have’s’:


In the fridge/Freezer

  • Nuts and seeds (store them in the fridge to keep them fresh and prevent the natural oils to go rancid and stale
  • Coconut water
  • Fruit and veggies, herbs
  • a jar of chia seeds soaking for breakfast
  • condiments like mustard and home made mayo
  • Nut milk and dairy
  • Yoghurt (goats / coconut)
  • Frozen Berries and Bananas

In the pantry

  • Chia Seeds
  • Stock cubes
  • Brown/Basmati and wild rice
  • Buckwheat
  • Lentils/Chickpeas
  • Dried herbs
  • Died fruit: Goji, Inca berries, Cranberries, Dates and Apricots
  • Soba Noodles / Gluten free pasta
  • Home made GF muesli
  • Oats
  • Flour (at the moment, there is Rice, Arrowroot, Besan, Coconut, Spelt)
  • Cans of Coconut, Tomato and Beans
  • Protein Shakes, supplements and energy drinks for the gym

  • Cumin
  • Coriander
  • Chilli
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Turmeric
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves
  • Cardamon
  • Bay leaves
  • Cayenne
  • Nutmeg
